To mark the 90th anniversary, Schleich presented itself at the toy fair in Nuremberg with a special highlight: an emotional photo activation that invited visitors both locally and digitally to dive into the world of imagination. Together with MINTANO, a hybrid solution was created that perfectly combined tradition and modernity, exhibition experience and digital scaling.

Die OneMax Photo box was prominently placed on the Schleich exhibition stand — fully branded, intuitive to use and consistently frequented by trade fair visitors. It was the central entry point to the imaginative campaign #MakingFriends.


Parallel to the trade fair, the virtual photo box made OneVirtual from MINTANO digital participation — ideal for employees, international partners and customers who could not be there. The online extension provided additional reach and visibility.
At the heart of the campaign was the creative Image presentation via the BrandAI feature by MINTANO. Participants were visually integrated into the world of Schleich — as riders on a unicorn or side by side with a mammoth, two of the brand's most popular characters.



The campaign combined emotional storytelling with a clear goal: Lead generation in a B2B context. Contact data was collected both at the stationary photo box and online in accordance with the GDPR.
